Notes

I started this year standing in front of a waterfall. January has felt truly transformational, often overwhelming, but I'm grateful for the time I've had to reflect on my work and my goals. I've learned a lot about solidarity and community from my work this month, and I'm looking forward to the new year and the opportunities for growth it will continue to bring.

Favorites:

Album: Sunset Rollercoaster - QUIT QUIETLY
TV Show: Pluribus
Video Game: The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom

This month felt soft. Quiet, introspective, like winter. I've been working on more of my personal projects, slowing down, experiencing routines. I am still trying to find a balance between work and play, but know that these things happen in cycles. Reminder: Be gentle.

Album: Rosalìa - LUX

I've been continuing work on my projects. The days are getting colder, and the nights are getting longer. Responding to this change has been as difficult as it always has been, but I continue to practice gratitude. When I encounter a new experience, whether it's good or bad, I know now to let it sink in.

Album: Daniel Caesar - Son of Spergy
Book: Beyond Personhood: An Essay in Trans Philosophy by Talia Mae Bettcher

After coming back from Sweden, I've felt like some sort of recalibration has happened in my life. I've been feeling a calling to explore more of my place in the world. Where do I go from here? What do I envision for my future? I know I have to be curious and to create.
